Background Verification
Issue to
During the hiring process, there is a critical need to conduct a thorough background verification of employees. This process involves navigating various public pages in search of evidence of individuals’ backgrounds. The high demand for this task and its manual nature make it a complex and time-consuming endeavor. It was imperative to find a solution that would automate background verification across multiple public pages, transforming this high-volume task into a completely automated process.
Solution
The implemented solution in the project involved the automatic execution of background searches, verifying information on 7 relevant investigation pages. These seven pages included sources such as the Police, Comptroller’s Office, Prosecutor’s Office, United Nations Security Council List, European Union Terrorist List, OFAC List, and Terrorist Organizations List. Once the search was completed, if any negative notification was generated, a robot placed this observation in a record to notify the expert user responsible for evaluating the hiring.
Results
The implementation of this solution yielded several notable results:
- Achieved precise and efficient background verification.
- Detailed evidence of the consulted information was compiled.
- Notifications were implemented in case of finding negative data about the individual, expediting the decision-making process.
- Productivity increased significantly, recording a 110% increase.
- Successfully conducted over 24,000 interactions, highlighting the effectiveness and success of automation in the background verification process.
