A healthcare entity periodically records patient information to then execute the billing of its services. This process involves verifying the package of medical exams contracted by the patient, as well as the status of their Bombea plan. Additionally, constant monitoring of patients is required to ensure billing deadlines are met.
Solution
To address this problem, an automated solution for the billing process was developed. This solution consists of the following steps:
- Downloading patient appointment information, medical exam control, Bombea plan control, and medical exam control tracking from the Medifolios database.
- Controlling and monitoring the patient’s medical history to verify the number of exams to be performed.
- Downloading medical exams from Colcam.
- Unifying patient information for billing.

The automated solution has allowed:
