Payroll Updates
Issue to
One of the current challenges in the payroll updates process is the lack of control in the timely submission of information by different departments. The absence of proper tracking of data submission deadlines leads to the need to retrace updated employee information when departments do not have strict control over the dates and information they need to provide for payroll preparation. This results in reprocessing and delays in the payroll process.
Solution
The solution implemented to address this challenge involved consolidating data from the 52 cost centers and verifying the information, particularly the number of workers in each cost center. The system notifies if all cost centers have reported their respective hours, indicating that the settlement can proceed in an orderly manner with the updates presented in the month. Once the settlement is complete, the system automatically notifies the department head about the generated information and payroll results.
Results
The implementation of this solution has yielded significant results:
- Constant tracking of the 52 cost centers has been established, ensuring timely submission of required information.
-
Payroll settlement is carried out efficiently and punctually.
Notifications are sent to cost centers to remind them of the importance of providing necessary data for payroll. - Reminders have been implemented to inform operations about the inputs required for settlement.
- A total of more than 832 interactions have been recorded, reflecting the efficiency and effectiveness of the improved payroll updates process.
