Vaccination Record
Issue to
PAIWEB faced the challenge of efficiently managing the “COVID-19 Vaccination Tracking” process. This involved the daily validation of information regarding vaccinations and doses administered to users. Details such as date of birth, place of residence, age, phone number, email, vaccination date, vaccine batch, diluent used, syringe batch, and, for minors, the number of gestation days and parental information needed to be recorded. It was also essential to keep track of vaccination doses and notify if a patient’s information was incorrect for proper updating. Additionally, it was important to verify if a patient had completed all required doses.
PAIWEB
conducted daily tracking and insertion of biological data into a database, demanding significant time and resource efforts.
Solution
The implemented solution involved automating key processes related to the COVID-19 vaccination management in PAIWEB. The robot validated the input information template for the PAIWEB system and performed data checks on the website to ensure accurate data insertion. Furthermore, it automated the update of cases with correct vaccination information. In case a vaccine was not registered, the robot generated a log entry.
Results
The implementation of this solution yielded several significant outcomes:
- Consistent and 24/7 availability for efficient processing of up to 1,440 insertions.
- Remarkable increase in productivity in the vaccination record process in PAIWEB.
- This automation substantially improved efficiency in managing COVID-19 vaccinations in PAIWEB by reducing manual workload, ensuring data accuracy, and allowing more effective tracking of patients coming to the IPS to receive their vaccine.
